Delete your seeu account

You can delete your seeu account yourself at any time, right in the app. It takes a minute and can't be undone.

In the app

1. Open the seeu app and go to your profile.
2. Tap the gear in the top right.
3. Under App, tap “Settings”.
4. Scroll down and tap “Delete account”.
5. Confirm with “Delete permanently”.

No access to the app?

Write to contact@seeu.events from the email address you use for seeu and tell us to delete your account. We delete it within one month at the latest and let you know once it's done.

What we delete

• Your profile: name, profile pictures, birthday, gender and bio
• Your location data and who you shared it with
• Your connections, chats and messages
• Your photos and videos in Memories, with their likes and comments
• Your Face Connect data
• Who you follow, your likes and your RSVPs

Most of it is gone within minutes, your files shortly after.

What we have to keep

• Tickets, payments and invoices, for 7 years, as Austrian tax law requires
• Events you hosted, because other people's tickets and Memories depend on them
• Your star ratings of events, without your name or comment
• Proof of the consents you gave, without your name or email address

Older backups at our hosting provider expire on their own.

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to delete your whole account. You can delete single photos and videos yourself, and your Face Connect data via the gear in your profile, under “Face Connect”.
